^33 (A)Be on guard, ^(B)keep awake.^[a] For you do not know when the time will come. ^34 (C)It is like a man ^(D)going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants^[b] in charge, ^(E)each with his work, and commands ^(F)the doorkeeper to stay awake. ^35 (G)Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, ^(H)in the evening, or ^(I)at midnight, or ^(J)when the cock crows,^[c] or ^(K)in the morning—
